摘　　要：以功能翻译理论的文本功能类型学、目的论、翻译行为理论和功能加忠诚理论等为切入点,运用"从全局到局部"的研究方法对科技论文英译进行功能分析,进而为科技论文英译提供实用的翻译策略和方法。From the perspective of the functional translation theory,achieving the translation skopostheorie and the intended function in the target culture is the principle translators should observe.The function of scientific paper translation is to convey the relevant information in the most efficient way to the target audience.This paper has put forward a tentative research on scientific paper C/E translation by employing the functionally oriented top-down methodology recommended by the functional translation theory concerning text typology,Skopostheorie,translation action as well as function and loyalty principle,aiming at discovering proper translation strategies and methods,in the hope of improving scientific paper C/E translation quality.
