论信息型文本的翻译补偿策略

摘　　要：基于纽马克的文本分析理论,本文以《江西省省情介绍》的英译为语料,阐述了信息型文本的特点及其翻译原则和翻译补偿策略。在信息型文本翻译补偿手段中,语法补偿手段使用频率最高,其次是文化补偿,而使用语用补偿和审美补偿手段的必要性不是很突出。Based on Newmark＇ s Text Typology Theory, this paper deals with the characteristics, translating principles as well as translation compensation methods of informative texts through an analysis of A Brief Introduction to Jiangxi Province. It is found that among the four types of compensation strategies, grammatical compensation occurs with the highest frequency, cultural compensation being the second most used strategy while there are not noteworthy cases of pragmatic or aesthetic compensation.
