基于关联理论的译本研究——以《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》为例

摘　　要：关联理论吸收当代语言学、认知科学、心理学以及行为科学的某些研究成果对语言交际作出解释。认为促使人类之间进行交际的核心大脑信息处理机制,是一种能够根据人们的行为进行推理的能力。从关联理论看,文学翻译本质上就是一种交际行为,译者在这双重交际中的职能就是挖掘出原文作者意图与译本读者期待视野的最佳关联,在使译文达到与原文的语境等效的同时,也要确保译本读者以最小的努力获得最佳的解读原文作家写作意图的语境效果。可见,关联理论对翻译的阐释内涵是"以人为本",这就要求译者应从原文的明示信息以及文本产生的历史语境中找到最佳关联性,为读者提供最佳的认知环境。可以说,好的译者还必须能使译文最大限度地与原文趋同,最大限度地再现原文的实质与风格。Relevance theory,which makes an explanation to language communication by absorbing certain research results from contemporary linguistics,cognitive science,psychology and behavior science,regards that the brain information processing mechanism,which can improve intercommunications among human beings,is a kind of capability to infer based on human behavior.Judging from relevance theory,the nature of literary translation is a kind of communicational behavior.The functions of translators in this dual communications are to unearth the optimal relevance of the intention of the original author to meet the expectations of the readers when they read the translated texts,to achieve the result that the translated text is equivalent to the context of the original text,and meanwhile,to ensure that readers can attain the optimal understanding contextual effect of the writing intension of the original author when they read the translated texts by the least endeavor.It is thus clear that the connotation of interpretation of relevance theory to translation is ＂people-oriented＂.This requires the translator finding best revelance in the original information of the text and in historical context so as to provide the readers with the best cognitive environment.Good translators must make the translation look like the original text maximally which will reproduce the essence and style of the original text maximally.
