摘　　要：随着计算机的产生及多媒体技术的快速发展,在现代教学中应用的越来越广泛,如何充分的利用计算机多媒体技术,发挥学生的积极主动性与创造性,以促进教学的发展。从而达到最好的学习效果,提高学生的学习效率是当前需要研究的问题。本文简单分析了大学英语多媒体教学优点及问题,重点探讨了多媒体在大学英语教学中应用与意义,最后强调了大学英语多媒体教学过程中要注意的原则。With the rapid development of computer and multimedia technology, it is increasingly applied in modern teaching. How to make full use of computer multimedia technology, play the initiative and creativity of students, and promote the development of education, so as to achieve better learning outcomes and improve the efficiency of student learning is the current problem in study. This article briefly analysed the advantages and problems of college English multimedia teaching, focused on the application of multimedia in college English teaching and its significance, and emphasized the principle should pay attention to in college English multimedia teaching.
