摘 要:课堂话语是课堂研究的重要方面。本文采用课堂话语语料库部分语料,从师生话语量、课堂提问类型、师生交互方式及反馈形式等方面对比了乡镇和城市中学英语课堂话语的异同。通过对数据的转写和课堂观察,笔者发现,乡镇中学英语教学主要以教师为主导,学生参与课堂和使用目标语的机会很少;而城市中学教师倾向于让学生参与课堂互动,给学生提供更多的使用目标语进行双向交际和意义协商的机会。据此,现阶段乡镇中学的英语课堂模式亟待改进,并应增加学生参与课堂及使用目标语的机会,与此同时,城市中学的英语教学也有进一步提升的空间。This study is based on the data selected from a corpus of classroom teaching to compare the teacher talk in rural and urban senior high schools, with a specific focus on the following aspects: the amount of teacher talk, types of teacher questioning, teacher-student communication tactics and styles of teacher feedbacks. Through the transcription of the data and close classroom observation, the study finds that teacher-centered teaching mode is still dominant in the rural schools. However, teachers in the urban schools tend to involve more students' interactions in the classes. The study provides some implications: (1) In the rural schools, teachers had better improve their teaching methods and try to avoid the traditional grammar-translation teaching method to develop students' learning interest through adding more classroom activities and providing more chances for students to participate into them. (2) Teachers in the urban schools have begun to pay attention to putting students as the learning center, providing more opportunities. However, teaching in the urban school still can be improved; to some extent, the teacher talk is still not natural.
