汉英公示语错译对我国高校英语教育发展的启示——以西安世园会公示语错译为例

摘　　要：以西安世园会汉英公示语的错译为例,系统分析了双语公示语错译的主要原因,总结了目前高校英语教育中存在的一些问题,反思我国国民英语语言运用能力低下的现象,并得出此类现象对我国高校大学英语教育发展的启示。Taking the mistranslation of public signs in EXPO in Xihn for an example, the author systemat- ically analyzes the main reasons of mistranslation of bilingual public signs. Then some problems existing in present English education of our universities are summarized, together with some reflection on the poor English pragmatic ability of our national people. Finally, some enlightenment on the development of university education in China has been obtained from the analysis of this phenomenon.
