摘　　要：文章依据开展数学建模活动的实践经验,阐述了数学建模对高职院校学生应用与创新能力培养的重要意义,探讨了如何通过数学建模活动培养高职学生的应用与创新能力,并对高职院校开展数学建模提出了几点思考。According to the mathematical modeling activities in the practice experience, this paper expounds important significance of the mathematical modeling for higher vocational colleges students＇ application and cultivating innovation skills. It also probes into how to cultivate higher vocational colleges students＇ application and innovation ability through the mathematical modeling activities. And it mentions some thoughts about the expansion of mathematical modeling in higher vocational colleges.
