写长法及其在我国大学英语写作教学中的应用

摘  要:在论述了西方写作教学法发展及其优势与不足的基础上,系统地分析了写长法的理论基础、教学理念以及写长法在大学英语写作教学过程中的具体应用,指出其对非英语专业学生有一定的借鉴作用,教师在挑选、增补、重新组合设计的教学任务中,将写长法穿插到教学中去,可取得较好的教学效果。Length approach proposed by Professor Wang Chuming is a new writing concept of writing ped- agogy applicable to the current situation of Chinese college writing, the essence of which is write-to-learn. Based on the discussion of development and advantages and disadvantages of the main western writing ap- proaches, the paper makes a systematic analysis on theoretical rationale and teaching philosophies of length approach and its specific application in the process of college English writing, especially its important im- plication to non-English majors. Finally teachers are proposed to select, supplement, re-combine the de- signed teaching assignments, and intersperse length approach in their teaching procedures so as to obtain the teaching effects most suitable to students' characteristics.
