摘  要:通过问卷调查和访谈的形式对四川省内7所高职院校英语老师的语言观、教学观等教学认知情况进行了调查。重点分析了高职英语教师对英语、英语能力的认识及英语能力培养目标的理解,对课程内容、教学方法、课堂组织及实践教学等教学方面的认知和实践等。并在调查的基础上,对高职高专英语教师专业发展和实践教学研究提出了建议。Teachers' teaching cognition influences their teaching decision-making and their teaching behaviors in the classroom, as well as the students' study cognition and their learning behaviors. Therefore, the study of the English teachers' teaching cognition of the higher vocational colleges has great significance in cultivating the students' English proficiencies. By means of questionnaire survey and interviews in seven higher vocational colleges in Sichuan, this study investigates many aspects of teaching cognition, such as teachers' linguistic perspective, perspective of language teaching, and knowledge of the learners. It mainly analyses the teachers' knowledge of English language, English proficiencies and their understanding of English training objectives, curriculum, teaching methods, classroom organization and teaching practice as well as their evaluation of the students' English learning cognition and behaviors. In the mean time, this study analyses the relativity of their teaching cognition, teaching methods and teaching behaviors, and at last it puts forward the proposals about the professional development and teaching practice for higher vocational college English teachers.
