摘　　要：认知图式对英语翻译的作用实质上是学习者运用词汇、语法、语篇对材料进行解码的过程,其中最典型的应用就是英语新闻的翻译。认知图式在英语新闻翻译中,通过充当解码者的功能,运用编码的形式,可有效地提高英语新闻翻译的质量。Cognitive schema is essential in English translation, because it is actually the decoding process of learners with the vocabulary, grammar, and discourse material. One of the most typical one is the applica- tion of English news translation, which expounds the cognitive schemata and the relationship between the Eng- lish news translations, and considers that strengthening the construction of schema knowledge can effectively improve the quality of English news.
