摘　　要：大学英语教学中,教师主导与学生的被动一直被认为是困扰英语教学质量提高的重要原因。"以学生文中心"的英语教学模式能够极大地激发学生的学习积极性和主动性,从根本上转变学生在大学英语课堂中的被动角色,是一种科学的教学模式。In college English teaching, teachers＇ leading role and students＇ passiveness are always regarded as the major reasons for troubling the quality of English teaching. The ＂student-centered＂ teaching mode is a scientific teaching mode which can greatly stimulate their learning motivation and initiative so as to transform students＇ passive role in college English class in essence.
