摘　　要：从凹凸函数的定义和几何特征出发,归纳了它在初等数学中的一些性质,结合实例总结了它在判定函数的单调性以及解特殊方程(或方程组)中的应用.From the definition and the geometry characteristic of the concave and the convex functions, we sum-marize some properties there of in elementary mathematics, and give their applications in determining monotonici-ty of functions, solving special equation or system of equations with some examples.
