摘　　要：英语作为一门语言,主要用于交际和应用,在大学英语教学中,英美文化有着重要的作用。将英美文化融入大学英语教学中,并通过具体的案例、调查、大学英语教材中有关英美文化的内容,对英美文化融入大学英语教学的重要性进行了阐述。结合实际的教学情况,制定了大学英语的相应教学策略和教学模式。将英美文化融入到大学英语教学中,能使学生的知识面得到拓宽,对所学英语知识有更深的理解,同时也有利于语言能力的提高。English as a foreign language, is mainly used for communication and application. British and American culture plays an important role in the university English teaching. The paper discusses the significance of fusing British and American cul- ture into English Teaching in University and formulates the corresponding teaching strategies and teaching mode with the actu- al situation of the university English. Mixing English and American culture into University English can broaden students＇ knowledge and make them have a deeper understanding of English knowledge as well as help to improve their language ability.
