摘　　要：本文以语言输入理论和建构主义理论为依据,将新闻英语引入专业英语课堂,在基础英语课程中进行学生英语新闻报道活动。为期一年的实践证明,该教学能大大激发学生的学习兴趣和动机,综合锻炼学生基本语言技能和教学技能,培养学生反思性自主学习能力,对英语、翻译专业基础阶段的实践教学具有积极的启示作用。Based on the language input theory and constructivism theory, the author apphes journalistic English in basic English classroom through students＇ weekly English news report. It is proved that such teaching practice can greatly stimulate students＇ learning interest and motivation, develop their fundamental language skills and teaching skills and promote their reflective autonomous learning ability. Ultimately, it will shed light to the practical teaching for English and translation majors in the elementary stage.
