摘　　要：文章采用实证研究的方法,全面概述了中华女子学院2009—2011年大学英语课程改革的背景以及在教学理念、教学模式、手段、内容、方法、考核方式、评价方式和课程设置方面采取的改革措施。研究实践证明:改革对学生的英语学习产生了积极的影响,在一定程度上提高了女大学生的英语学习兴趣、自主学习能力和英语综合应用能力,其英语听说能力提高较为明显。文章对所发现的问题提出了对策和建议,还指出了大学英语课程改革今后的发展方向。This paper applies the empirical method to present a comprehensive overview of College English Curriculum Reform in CWU （2009-2011） -- the background of the reform, the measures taken in the reforms of teaching concept, mode, methods, contents, testing method, assessment format and curriculum design. The research result proves that the reform has a positive effect on students＇ English learning. It has improved students＇ interest, their autonomous learning ability and comprehensive abilities in applying English, especially their L and S abilities. The paper not only puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to the problems found, but also points out further development direction of CEC reform in CWU.
