摘　　要：针对大学英语教育过度功利性的时弊,本文强调了价值教育在人才培养中的重要性,阐述了大学英语教学内容和方法在塑造被教育者的"个人价值"、"社会价值"、"道德价值"、"精神价值"和"行为价值"过程中的作用,并提出了强化大学英语教学价值性的基本途径。Based on the strong utility of current college English education, the paper emphasizes the importance of value education in talent cultivation. Roles that college English teaching contents and methods play in the course of molding students＇ personal values, social values, moral values, spiritual values and behavioral values have been analyzed and ways of improving value education in college English teaching have been put forward.
