摘  要:针对目前大学EGP阅读和写作教学层面以及ESP教学层面存在的弊端,选择材料专业学生为研究对象,探讨了构建具有专业适应性的、融合ESP阅读及写作教学的大学EGP阅读及写作教学架构的可行性。指出借助语法隐喻相关理论,构建定制化大学英语读写架构不仅是大学EGP教学发展的趋势之一,而且专业定制化的大学英语读写教学对提升学生英语阅读及写作兴趣与技能,乃至大学英语教学的效果大有裨益。Aimed at the drawbacks existing in the aspects of the current university EGP Reading & Writing teaching and the ESP teaching, and by choosing the Material Engineering majors as research objects, the possibility of merging ESP into EGP Reading & Writing teaching was discussed according to characteristics of Material Engineering. Supported by the grammatical metaphor related theory, the teaching mode combining ESP Reading & Writing teaching with EGP Reading & Writing teaching can not only be regarded as a trend in EGP Reading teaching, but also a big helper in improving the interest as well as the ability of English learning on the part of ESL learners which in the end results in a higher efficiency in EGP Reading & Writing teaching.
