摘  要:"国家历史日"是美国连续举办了近40年之久的面向中学生的历史比赛活动。这项活动突破了传统的历史学习模式,让学生自主选择相关课题开展探究性学习,并将研究成果以历史纪录片、历史剧、展览、小论文或网站的形式展示出来。"国家历史日"活动重视社会主流价值观的引导,强调"从做中学习历史"。这项活动对于美国历史教育的改革起到了非常积极的作用,影响了几代美国人。美国"国家历史日"活动的发展历程和具体做法值得我们研究和借鉴。National History Day is a history match which has been held for almost 40 years for middle and high school students continuously. It breaks down the traditional study pattern of history and lets the students to choose topics related to carry out inquiry learning autonomously, and the students apply the research results into historical documentary, performance, exhibit, paper or web site. National History Day pays attention to the main- stream values of American society and learning history by doing history. It has played a very positive role in the history educational reform, and received the strong support from the whole society. It has affected the whole Amer- ican society, and influenced generations of Americans. Both the development of this event and the specific practice deserve us to study and get some reference.
