摘　　要：在实施素质教育的今天 ,首要的是对教育者的教育 ,因为教师的素质是素质教育成败的关键。素质教育对传统教师形象提出了诸多挑战。教师提高自身素质 ,改变个人形象 ,已成为当务之急。教师要不断提高文化素质和专业知识 ,并运用公关礼仪的知识与技巧 ,塑造大学教师新形象 ,提升人格魅力 ,提高教学技能 。With the implementation of quality education,what matters most is the education of educators,for teacher quality is the key to the success of quality education.As quality education poses a great challenge to the traditional image of teachers,it is imperative that teachers should strive to enhance their personal qualities and remould their individual images.What is more,teachers should commit themselves to upgrading their cultural qualities and professional expertise,moulding a new image of college teachers by virtue of knowledge and skills of public etiquette,enhancing personal appeal,improving teaching skills and establishing a new type of teacher_student relationship.
