摘　　要：课余体育是体育课堂教学之外的体育锻炼活动 ,它具有不同于体育课堂教学的许多特点和优点 ,在现代教育中起着重要的作用 :它和课内教育一起成为实现教育、教学目标的途径和手段 ;具有促进学生个性发展的教育功能 ;有利于学生基本素质的全面提高 ;Extracurricular Athletics physical training outside class has so many advantages and different characteristics compared with the class training that it plays an important role in modern education: it is an effective means, together with curricular training, to attain goals of the education as well as teaching; it has the educational function to promote students' personality development; it is helpful to enhance students' basic quality and personal modernization.
