从《黑奴吁天录》看林纾翻译的文化改写

摘　　要：林纾是中国近代大规模译介外国文学作品的第一人 ,但他“不谙西文” ,从作品的选择到对原文的理解都取决于与他合作的口译者。他的翻译作品中出现了大量增补删减现象。本文拟对林译本《黑奴吁天录》进行细读 ,以寻求隐含在其改写背后的中西文体差异的显现。A great amount of augment and deletion exist in Lin Su's tanslation works. Lin Su doesn't command foreign languages, thus his translation works may not be evaluated on the basis of translator's linguistic attainment. By analyzing Lin Su's version of Uncle Tom's Cabin, this paper attempts to probe into such cultural factors as the selection between Chinese and western in literary styles, readers' reading expectation and translator's identity.
