摘　　要：儿童英语热是近年来家长及教育界普遍关注的热点现象之一。围绕儿童学外语的最佳年龄及与成人学外语的比较 ,国外的语言学家和教育家做了大量的实验和问卷调查。探讨中国儿童学习英语既可以为儿童外语研究提供不同角度的信息 ,又具有很大的社会及实际意义。The rush of children’s English learning has been a hot issue among parents and in the educational field.Many linguists and educationalists home and abroad have done great experiments and questionnaires concerning children’s optimal age to learn English and the comparison between adults and children in learning English.Probing into Chinese children’s English learning not only offers different perspectives in chidren’s English learning,but also has great social and practical significance.
