摘　　要：末尾焦点和末尾加重是决定英语词序的两条重要原则。这两条原则是都是要把新信息或比较复杂的部分安置在句子的末尾，本文通过对状语分句，语态和“虚动词＋行为名词”结构等的分析，阐明在运用英语时应如何遵循末尾焦点和末尾加重的原则及右向移动规则。End focus and end weight are two important principles to determine the word order. According to these principles, the new information and the more complex parts should be placed towards the end position of the clause. By analyzing the uses of adverbial clauses, the choice of active and passive voices and 'the form verb + verbal noun' structure in this article, the author has illustrated the principles of end focus and end weight and at the same time right ward movement rules are also stressed on by examples.
