摘　　要：本文旨在从历时研究的角度探索译者风格,利用语料库研究工具考察中文典籍《聊斋志异》两个主要历时英译的译者风格特点。研究以基于语料库的译者风格综合研究模式为理论框架,分析和探讨了翟理斯和闵福德两位译者表现在其译本多个层面上、包括T型和S型两种维度的译者风格特点,并以此为基础对其译者风格产生原因进行历史、文化和社会的解读。This paper aims at investigating translator style from a diachronic perspective with a corpus-assisted case study of two English versions of the Chinese Classic Liao Zhai Zhi Yi. Guided by the theoretical framework of a com prehensive research model of translator style, the writer of the paper discusses a variety of layers of both T type and S type translator styles based on the English versions by Giles and Minford respectively, on which basis a historical, cultural and social interpretation of their motivations is ventured.
