摘 要:全方位培养学生的语言综合能力是我国大学英语教学的最终目标。通过教学,使学生能熟练地使用英语进行交流,实现跨文化交际的目的。语言学习的最终目的是语言应用,即语言输出。目前,第一课堂教学无法为学生提供理想的语言输出环境。第二课堂教学的成功开展,可以有效地解决这一问题。第二课堂教学在英语学习中起到至关重要的作用,它能够有效地弥补第一课堂教学的不足,使第一课堂教学在课外能有效地延伸。Cultivating college students' comprehensive ability has been the ultimate goal of college English teaching. By means of teaching, students are supposed to communicate in English successfully. Language output has been the focus of language learning. However, the current first classroom teaching fails to provide enough opportunities for students' language output. The second classroom teaching is the key to the solution to this problem. Second classroom teaching plays an essential role in language learning, and it can supplement first classroom teaching and therefore improve the efficiency of college English teaching.
