摘　　要：具备较强的教学能力是对地方高校大学英语青年教师的基本要求,也是提高大学英语课程教学质量的保证。地方高校要针对大学英语青年教师教学经验不足、投入教学研究精力不够等问题,加大培训力度,尽快提升大学英语青年教师的教学能力,以提高大学英语教学质量。For young teachers, being capable to teach is not only the basic requirement of the job, but also the basic guarantee of the improvement of teaching quality. Young teachers＇ lacking college English teaching experiences and shortage in teaching research in the course are easily seen and great importance should be attached to this. Local colleges and universities should strengthen young teachers training to help them improve their teaching abilities and then improve college English teaching quality.
