摘　　要：《一位女士的画像》作为一部美国成长小说,通过主人公伊莎贝尔从天真、受骗到觉醒、成熟的几个成长过程,展现了欧美大陆文化的博弈以及生活在欧洲的美国人的众生相。文章试图从伊莎贝尔的成长历程和文化冲突的角度解读作品的成长主题。The Portrait of a Lady, an American initiation story, reveals the game between Europe culture and American culture as well as the lives of Americans in Europe. This article attempts to interpret the initiation theme of the work from the growth of Isabel and the perspective of cultural conflict.
