摘 要:受结构主义语言学的影响,传统高职英语词汇教学模式里词汇被当作独立语言单位作孤立式讲授。这种脱离语境、偏重单词识记的词汇教学方式已被证明无法促进高职学生英语词汇应用能力的实质性提高,高职英语词汇教学必须寻求新的突破口。语篇语言学主张以语篇为单位开展语言教学。基于语篇的英语词汇教学关注词汇运用的上下文语境、注重词汇语言形式和语篇功能挂钩,能给传统高职英语词汇教改提供新思路。The traditional English vocabulary teaching model in higher vocational education has failed to actually improvestudents’application ability in vocabulary because it takes words as the discrete components of language which can betaught isolatedly. This has made it in urgent need of pedagogical reform. Text linguistics takes text as the basic unit of languageand pays great attention to the textual context of language use and the matching relationship between the forms andfunctions of words. To carry out vocabulary teaching within such a theoretical framework may spare English vocabularyteaching in higher vocational education from its isolated, de-contextual treatment of vocabulary and may provide insightfulenlightenment for its improvement.
