摘 要:通过对四川师范大学和西华师范大学两所师范院校英语专业教育类课程设置及教学现状调查表明,大多数即将毕业的师范生通过近四年英语类教育课程的学习,认为自己能胜任中小学英语教学工作。但英语教育类课程仍然存在结构设置不合理、教学内容空洞、教学方式单一、教育实践课程未得到学校主管部门和学生足够的重视等问题。根据这些问题,结合《教师教育课程标准(试行)》,地方师范院校英语教育类课程设置及教学改革应加大教师教育课程比重,增加内容的实用性,延长实习时间,培养学生的研究能力。The study chooses Sichuan Normal University and China West Normal University as a subject and investigates the curriculum arrangement and teaching of English teacher education in two normal universities through text analysis, interview, and questionnaires. Results indicate that majority of graduating students, almost finishing four-year learning of English teacher education curriculum, consider themselves qualified to teach English in primary or middle schools. However, English teacher education curriculum still has problems in terms of its arrangement, teaching contents, teaching methods and educational practice which has not received enough attention from school authorities and students, based on these problems and Teacher Education Curriculum Standard (interim), we should increase the proportion of curriculum of teacher education, increase the practicability of contents, lengthen the practice time to cultivate the research ability of students.
