从翻译生态学角度解读严复译著《天演论》

摘　　要：翻译生态学将翻译学和生态学有机地结合起来,利用生态学的模式,解释翻译现象。严复《天演论》的问世,离不开当时特定的翻译生态环境,同时严译本《天演论》也发挥了相应的翻译生态功能,其翻译过程充分体现了生态学中的限制因子定律、耐性定律以及最适度原则。试图从翻译生态学的角度,解读《天演论》的翻译生态环境、翻译生态功能以及其中所体现的翻译生态学的基本原理。Translation studies are linked closely with ecology,which means translation phenomenon can be researched under the modes of ecology.Tian Yanlun,the Chinese version of Evolution and Ethics translated by Yan Fu, could not be published without a certain translation environment. Meanwhile,the translation helps to realize the translation ecological functions, and reflects the ecological laws such as Blackman’s law of limiting factors,Shelford’s law of tolerance and optimum rule in its translating.This paper explores the translation environment,translation ecological function and other basic principles of Yan Fu’s translation masterpiece.
