摘  要:西方传教士因传教之需要而将幻灯、电影等电化器材与知识技术引入中国,并经由书刊发布、集会演讲、学校应用等方式为中国人所认识和接收。在推动现代媒体技术与学校教育联结的过程中,促进我国传统教育手段的更新与现代化,使借助科技新成果而兴的电化教育开始在近代中国社会乃至学校中萌蘖、生发和成形,中国近代电化教育因是而兴。The western missionaries introduced slides,movies and other audio-visual equipment and knowledge technology into China for their missionary needs.All these audio-visual machines and technology were recognized and accepted by Chinese then through published books,missionariesspeeches,the application in schools and other ways as well.In the process of promoting the connection of modern media technology and school education,they promoted the renewal and modernization of Chinas traditional educational means, which made the audio-visual education with new achievements in science and technology sprout and take shape in modern Chinese society,and modern Chinese audio-visual education began to be prosperous.
