公示语译写现状调查与对策——以常州公示语为例

摘　　要：公示语的错译、误译等都会造成信息传递错误,误导外籍人士,公示语英译问题包括:译名的不统一、译文文本形式错误、选词错误、语法错误和语用失误。解决这些问题的方法有:加强对公示语翻译重要性的意识、明确公示语的可译性与不可译性、提高译者的翻译水平。The Existing problems like mistranslations and misapprehensions of the translation of public signs may transport wrong message and mislead foreigners .The problems of translations of Changzhou public signs in-clude non-standard and inconsistent translations , linguistic errors , and pragmatic failures .Strategies to solve these problems are：to strengthen the awareness of the importance of public signs , to make clear the translat-ability and untranslatability and to improve translators＇skills.
