摘　　要：本文从弹性学制和学分制涵义入手,探讨了高职院校外语教学改变传统学制,实行弹性学制和学分制必要性,以便更好地适应新时期社会对外语教学的新要求。Starting from the concept of flexible educational system and the credit system, this paper reviews the de- velopment of Chinese academic system and analyzes the important role of foreign language in higher vocational colle- ges, explores the necessity for foreign language teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges to change the from traditional school system to flexible educational system and the credit system, so as to better adjusted to the new era of foreign language teaching.
