摘　　要：翻译是一种跨文化交际活动,这一本质属性决定了其离不开伦理的制约与指导。切斯特曼提出翻译伦理的五种模式,即再现伦理、服务伦理、交际伦理、基于规范伦理和承诺伦理,影响深远。本文以切斯特曼的翻译伦理为指导,分析《我若为王》两译本运用的翻译策略,探究其主要遵循了何种伦理模式。Translation is a intercultural communication behavior,which makes it unavoidable to be influenced by the guidance of ethics. Andrew Chesterman proposes five modes of translation ethics-ethics of representation, ethics of service, ethics of communication, norm-based ethics and ethics of commitment, which exerts profound influence. This paper analyzes translation strategies of two versions of If I Were King to explore which modes of translation ethics they mainly conform to.
