摘　　要：文化转向批判性反思下的认知转向和社会学转向要么关注译者的语言认知,要么凸显译者在社会中的个体认知,都存在一定不足。将社会认同理论应用于译者认知研究既具有可行性又具有理论价值和应用价值;在此基础上从社会认同角度界定了译者身份内涵,勾勒了译者社会认同、文化认同和职业认同的建构及其内化于自我的个体认同模式;研究发现,社会认同有望为解释翻译过程中译者的认知研究提供一个新的参考体系。Cognitive turn and sociological turn are critical reflections of cultural turn in translation studies. However, both approaches show certain defects in their emphasis on either translator＇s language cognition or his/her individual cognition in society. This paper introduces social identity theory and analyzes the feasibility as well as theoretical and practical values of application of the theory in translator cognition studies. On such basis, it gives definition of translator identity in perspective of social cognition and dclineates the constructing of translator＇s social identity, cultural identity and vocational identity as well as the mode of internalization of the identities in translator＇s self-identity. Finally, it is pointed out that social identity is possible to provide a new reference system for explanation of translator＇s cognition in translating process.
