基础教育本土化之英语教材中编排母语文化的合理性分析

摘  要:当前我国的英语教学中,出现了英语文化内容的编排多于母语文化的现象,因此,英语教材中母语文化的保持一直是一个难题。英语教学也是跨文化交际的过程,英语教材在编排中是否考虑到母语文化对于学习者跨文化交际的意识的增强和能力的提升起到关键作用。本文基于基础教育要本土化的背景及特点,试采用问卷调查和访谈,从中国当下英语教材中汉语文化的编排情况、英语教材本土化以及对中国传统文化传播的意义三个角度,对英语教材中编排母语文化的合理性进行探究。In present English teaching of China,the arrangement of English culture has overweighed that of Chinese traditional culture.Therefore,maintaining mother language culture remains to be a problem.It is undeniable that English teaching acts as a inter-cultural process,which attributes to the key part of whether the distribution of mother language culture should be considered or not,because it means so much in the improvement for learners in inter-culture communicative sense.Based on the setting and characteristics of localization in elementary education,the paper tries to make a penetrating analysis into the rationalities of arranging mother language culture by questionnaires and interviews.The supporting aspects include the following three: the situation of present arrangement of Chinese traditional culture in English textbooks,the localization of English textbooks and the significance of spreading Chinese traditional culture.
