摘  要:以甘肃省15所全日制普通高校从事英语口译教学的教师为调查对象,探讨甘肃省高校英语口译教师的素质状况,采用问卷调查形式,涉及英语口译教师的年龄、性别、学历、职称和研究方向等要素。调查结果显示:口译师资队伍结构不理想;教师自身业务水平不高;教师社会文化知识薄弱。教学主管部门应该充分认识口译课程的价值;鼓励教师提高业务水平;不断更新知识;稳定口译师资队伍和教材。The paper is based on a survey of interpretation lecturers in Gansu Province to analyze the quality of theirs. Questionnaire is a main method employed in the paper,and the content ranges from age,gender,qualification and research areas. The results show the followings. Firstly the structure of interpretation lecturers is irrational. Secondly the teaching qualities of interpretation lecturers are low. Thirdly their general knowledge is weak. The researcher suggests that teaching administration should fully realize the value of interpretation course,supervise interpretation lecturers to improve their teaching qualities,encourage them to renew their general knowledge and stabilize the ranks of interpretation lecturers and the teaching materials.
