摘　　要：学生的内部动机在英语学习中非常关键,能够促使其保持学习兴趣,而英文报刊以其内容广泛、语言新颖等特点可以达到激发学生的内在动机和兴趣的目的,因此有必要使用英文报刊辅助英语课堂教学。在实施中可选取国内英文报刊中跟教材内容相扣或是学生感兴趣的内容,课前布置任务,课上采取各种形式训练并提高学生的英语综合应用能力。英文报刊的引入对课堂教学有着诸多促进作用,但同时也存在消极的影响。The students＇ internal motivation is very important in English learning, and it can make them keep their learning interest. English newspapers can be used to stimulate the student ＇s internal motivation and interest for their extensive content and innovative language, so it is necessary to use English newspa-pers in aided English class teaching. In the implementation, contents from domestic English newspapers coordinate with that from textbooks and students show interests in can be selected. The assignment of the tasks should be done before class. Various kinds of methods should be adapted to train and improve the stu-dents ＇ comprehensive English abilities at class. The introduction of English newspapers has many positive effects in class teaching, but meanwhile, it also shows some negative sides.
