摘  要:批判性思维能力是优秀人才的重要素质,是高等教育重要的教育目标。大学英语教学应该注重学生思辨能力的培养。本文以《大学应用英语综合教程》教材分析为基础,探讨教师如何在大学英语教学中培养学生的批判性思维能力,提出用批判性思维贯穿教材的编写,转变课堂教学模式,提升批判性思维能力;改变考评方式,量化批判性思维能力的培养。Critical thinking disposition is an important quality of talents and one target of higher education. Stimulating college students' curiosity and desire for knowledge, developing their ability to acquire knowledge, and eventually cultivating the talent with personalized thoughts and intelligences should be the focus of college English teaching and learning. With the analysis of College Applied English--An Integrated Course Book, this paper mainly focuses on ways and methods to cultivate college students' critical thinking disposition in the process of college English teaching and learning. It is suggested to implement the cultivation of students' critical thinking disposition through the teaching material, transform the classroom teaching mode in order to improve the ability of critical thinking, change the way of evaluation with the purpose of evaluating critical thinking ability.
