摘　　要：翻转课堂教学模式是一种颠覆了传统课堂的新型教学模式,与后者相比具有很大的优势,有利于提高学生的积极性和自主学习能力,在国内外已经得到了广泛运用并取得了良好的教学效果。从教学理念、视频制作、课堂活动、评价体系和学生自律性几个方面阐述了它给中医院校大学英语教学改革启示,其中既有机遇也有挑战,这也为大学英语教学改革提供了有利契机。Flipped classroom is a new teaching mode that reverses the traditional teaching mode. It has great advantage over the latter as it can motivate students and enhance their independent learning ability, thus it has been widely applied and has achieved good results both in China and abroad. This paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges brought by flipped classroom to the college English teaching from the aspects of teaching philosophy, video making, classroom activities, evaluation system and students＇ self-discipline. Flipped classroom will provide a possible choice for college English teaching reform.
