西方工科生学习风格研究及其启示

摘　　要：学习风格是个体在信息加工活动中表现出来的习惯化模式。学习风格理论丰富了教育者对个体差异性的认识,被誉为现代教学方法改革的基础。西方学者把学习风格理论与模型运用于工程教育领域,在工科生学习风格类型、学习风格与工科生学业表现以及工程教育方法与学习风格匹配等方面取得了较丰富的研究成果。本研究以工程教育领域最常用的三个学习风格研究工具为例,梳理相关研究成果,希望对工程教学改革提供借鉴。Learning style is a habituated model embodied in information processing activities of individuals. Learning style theory has enriched educators＇ existing knowledge about individual variances, and has been hailed as the basis of the reform of modern teaching methods. Overseas scholars have achieved remarkable research results in the learning style of engineering students, the relationship between the learning style and students＇ performances, and the match between learning styles and engineering education methods, etc. Taking two most frequently used tools of learning style research in the field of engineering education as examples, the study summaries the related research results with the hope that it will provide references for engineering education reform.
