摘  要:基于元认知理论,对学生的课外阅读进行问卷调查。结果表明,学生自主阅读的意愿较强烈,但对课后阅读策略认识不足,尤其在过程监控和结果评估策略上表现不佳。因此,教师有必要介入他们的课后阅读,对他们进行阅读策略的培训,以期在英语阅读课程教学实践中形成课堂教学和课外学习的一体化,努力打造真正的以学生为中心的大学英语阅读课堂。Based on the metacognition study, through the breakthrough perspective of extracurricular reading, this paper investigates the necessity of teachers' appropriate intervention in English majors' extracurricular reading by adopting the questionnaire of the extracurricular reading strategies. The resuhs show that the students have strong desire to be independent readers, but on the whole they are weak in using the extracurricular reading strategies, particularly the monitoring strategy and the evaluating strategy. Therefore it is necessary for the teachers to enforce the proper training of the extracurricular reading strategies, and thus strive to create a real "student- centered" English reading class in the practical teaching process of integration of classroom teaching and extracurricular reading.
