摘  要:如何重新定位并构建多媒体网路教学环境下的大学英语教师角色是近年来国内外语教学研究领域中的一个热点问题。研究人员从教师角色转换的理论依据、教师角色转换的必要性和重要性、新教学模式下如何重新定位教师角色、如何实现教师角色的转换以及教师课堂角色转换的实证研究等五个方面展开研究,取得了一定的研究成果。但文献研究表明,该领域的研究无论在广度、深度还是方法上都存在一些问题和不足,需要在今后的研究中加以改进。Over the past few years, teacher roles in the computer--based language teaching and learning situation have been a hot topic in the field of foreign language teaching and research. The current research mainly focuses on: (1) what are the theoretical foundations for the change of teacher roles; (2) why it is necessary and significant for college English teachers to change their roles; (3) what new roles college English teachers should play in the computer--based language learning situa- tion; (4) in what ways teachers can be helped to assume their new roles; (5) and whether college English teachers have shifted their roles from the traditional language classroom to the computer- based language learning situation. A review of the studies reveals that they are inadequate in breadth, depth and methodologies. Suggestions are made as to how the situation can be improved.
