摘　　要：本文基于外语学习动机理论,运用问卷调查法对三所医学院校医学生的英语口语学习动机两种类型开展实证研究。研究结果表明:与融合型动机相比,医学生的英语口语学习在极大程度上倾向于工具型动机。此外,讨论了如何激发学习动机的相关策略,以期为医学院校的英语口语教学提供一些启示。Based on the motivation theory of foreign language learning, this paper conducts an empirical study on both types of three medical universities＇ or colleges＇ students＇ oral English learning motivation utilizing the questionnaire. The results indicate compared with the integrative motivation, medical students＇ oral English learning is inclined to the instrumental motivation to a extremely large extent. Additionally, the related strategies on how to trigger their learning motivation have been discussed for the purpose of providing some implications for oral English teaching in medical universities or colleges.
