摘　　要：本研究采用问卷调查的形式对94位"拔尖创新实验班"学生的学术英语了解程度、学习经历、学习动机和关注焦点进行了分析。研究显示:学生对学术英语的意义缺乏了解,学习动机不够强烈。同时发现,学生学术英语的学习动机与其自身的英语水平正相关。研究结果对拔尖创新人才学术英语能力培养有一定的启示,为大面积推行学术英语教学提供了参考。Questionnaire investigation was carried out in ninety-four creative and outstanding students from the Elite Program about EAP learning experience, learning awareness and learning motivation. The result reveals that the students have poor background knowledge of EAP and they also lack EAP learning motivation. The result also indicates that there is positive correlation between the students＇ motivation and their English proficiency. This paper provides some implications for EAP teaching of the creative and outstanding students and also some reference for the teaching of EAP on a larger scale.
