高职生英语翻译能力薄弱的原因分析及提高建议

摘　　要：翻译是高职生英语学习中比较困难的环节,也是没有受到足够重视的环节。通过分析高职生翻译学习的现状,如汉英语言基础知识、翻译技巧运用、文化差异意识等方面存在的问题,从教师教学方面提出提高高职生翻译能力的建议,为培养未来所需要的国际化人才奠定基础。Translation is a challenging task in higher vocational college students＇ English learning, it is also one that needs more energy and efforts. This paper, by making an analysis of problems in the higher vocational college students＇ translation learning such as their English and Chinese knowledge, transhtion skills, awareness of cultural differences, finds out the reasons behind them. Based on the findings, the paper makes suggestions to inaprove higher vocational college students＇ translating skills so as to lay a solid foun- dation for the future international talents.
