摘　　要：本文概述了澳大利亚教师教育课程的结构和特点,并以澳大利亚联邦大学一年级一门教师教育专业基础课为例呈现澳大利亚教师教育的理念,即教学生而不是教课程,强调职前教师教育课程不仅要传授学科知识更要培养师范生各种从师素质和能力,特别是创新能力和批判性思维能力。This article outlines the structure and characteristics of Australian teacher education programs. A first year compulsory foundation teacher education course at Federation University Australia is employed as an example to show the conception of teacher education programs to educate the student teachers rather than stressing that pre-service teacher education courses should not only impart academic knowledge, more importantly, develop and improve pre-service teachers＇ professional abilities and skills, especially, the innovative ability, creative ability and critical thinking skills.
