政治术语跨文化传播中的语境依赖性——以“中国梦”英译为例

摘　　要：语言形式优化和功能等效是政治术语跨文化传播的基本原则。为确保受众准确把握术语内涵,需要理解并强调其语境依赖性,具体体现在语言语境依赖性和非语言语境依赖性两个层面。国内外对"中国梦"英译的研究集中于China Dream和Chinese Dream两个主要译文,后者被认为是较为理想的选择。"中国梦"、"美国梦"、"欧洲梦"的语言形式相似,但内涵截然不同,各自代表不同的历史阶段。在跨文化传播中,对政治术语非语言语境的认同和接受是正确解读其内涵的重要前提。In the cross-cultural transmission of political teminology,linguistic form optimization and function equivalence are the basic principles.However,accurate mastery of the essence of the political teminology is inseparable from the understanding of and emphasis on its context-dependency feature,which is demonstrated at two layers,i.e.lingugistic context dependency and non-linguistic context dependency.Studies home and abroad on the English translation of Zhongguo Meng concentrate on two predomimantly adopted expressions,i.e.China Dream and Chinese Dream,while the latter is considered a better option.Chinese Dream,American Dream and European Dream are similar in the linguistic form,but different in the connotation,each representing a distinct historical period.Knowledge and acceptance of the non-linguistic context plays a significant role in the proper comprehension of political teminology in the cross-cultural transmission.
