摘  要:本研究探讨高职院校公共英语教学环境中依托项目教学模式对学生英语学习动机和英语水平的影响。调查结果表明,参与依托项目学习的实验组学生英语学习动机优于控制组学生,英语学习兴趣与常规教学班级学生存在显著差异。实验结束时,实验组学生总体英语水平高于控制组。因此依托项目教学模式有助于学生英语学习兴趣和动机的改善和英语水平的提高。The current study explores the influence of project - based teaching model on studentsEnglish moti-vation and English level in the teaching context of general English at higher vocational colleges. The result shows that there is a significant difference in the English learning interest between the experimental group and the control group and the value of motivation of the experiment group is higher that of the control group. At the end of the ex-periment the English level of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group. Therefore,we conclude that project - based teaching model can promote students interest and motivation in learning English and also be helpful in improving the studentsEnglish level.
