译者文化身份多样性对文学翻译策略取向的影响——杨宪益、戴乃迭英译《湘西散记》的个案研究

摘　　要：译者的文化身份影响其文化态度,决定其翻译策略的取向。翻译家杨宪益、戴乃迭的译者文化身份兼具民族性和杂糅性,在英译《湘西散记》时,民族性的译者文化身份促使他们大量采用异化翻译策略,传播中国特色本土文化;杂糅性的译者文化身份使得他们以更开放的视角对待翻译,灵活采用归化翻译策略,让部分译文更贴近西方读者的社会文化背景。Translators’cultural identity affects translators’cultural attitude,then further determines translators’translation strategy.Famous translators,Mr.Yang Xianyi and Mrs.Gladys Yang,are featured with nationality and hybridity of the translators’cultural identity.In translating Recollection of West Hunan,the nationality of translators’cultural identity promoted them to often adopt the foreignization strategy so as to spread eastern culture with Chinese characteristics;the hybridity of translators’cultural identity promoted them to flexibly adopt the domestication strategy with an open view in order to make translated version closer to western readers and their social culture.
